Today, 21 November 2005, twelve members of the Assembly of Tibetan People’s Deputies arrived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The group of Tibetan delegates includes Chairman Mr. Pema Jungney and Vice-Chair Mrs. Dolma Gyari.

The group has traveled to The Netherlands after attending the World Parliamentarian?s Convention on Tibet in Edinburgh, Scotland and will spend the coming three days engaged in political meetings, including a meeting with members of the Dutch Parliament, the Tibetan Community in The Netherlands and with the Dutch Human Rights Ambassador.

On Sunday 20 November in Amsterdam, ICT hosted an enthusiastic and well-attended public panel discussion, including Mr. Pema Jungney and Mrs. Dolma Gyari, on “The Future of Tibetan Democracy”.
