Originally posted on his blog by Gyarong Yontan on March 13, 2008, the following poem captures mounting tensions that overflowed in protests across Tibet starting on March 14, 2008. In their posting “Listening Attentively to the Voice Bursting out of Loneliness” translators at High Peaks Pure Earth feature four poems written in Chinese by Tibetans prior to March 14, 2008.
