ICT's Government Advocacy

Maria Otero, with Lodi Gyari, the Dalai Lama's Special Envoy, has been named the new Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues.

The International Campaign for Tibet works with governments in the United States, the European Union, and around the world to promote policies to help the Tibetan people.

Government advocacy can have a tremendous impact in the effort to improve the lives of Tibetans and to encourage the Dalai Lama’s Middle Way solution of genuine autonomy for Tibet.

This Policy Center is designed to provide policy-makers with up-to-date resources and information to help develop and implement these policies. The Policy Center analyzes legislation from the U.S. Congress and U.S. Government policies, and legislation and policies in the European Union and other countries; issues fact sheets and reports on key Tibet issues; and links to the latest news on Tibet and ICT press releases.
