There are few dates in Tibetan history that are as significant as March 10th - Tibetan National Uprising Day. This coming March 10th marks the 51st anniversary of this momentous day and serves to remind us of the continued
Chinese oppression inside Tibet.

The Capital Area Tibetan Association and the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress is jointly organizing a candle light vigil outside the Chinese Embassy.

What:  Candle light vigil to mark the 51st anniversary of March 10th Tibetan National Uprising Day

When: Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 4:30 PM

Where: Chinese Embassy, 3505 International Place, NW, Washington, DC 20008.
Closest Metro: Red line, Van Ness-UDC station.
