Photojournalist Nancy Jo Johnson spent the month of March, 1998 in Dharamsala, India with Tibetan refugees. What follows is a series of interviews she conducted with individuals who had recently escaped from Tibet. All the names of these individuals have been changed in order to protect their freedom.
