Get Informed about Tibet in the 2008 Presidential Race. As the presidential election season intensifies, this page provides you with information on where each candidate stands on Tibet, resources for you to engage local House and Senate candidates, and help with finding your polling place.

Tell-a-Friend.  We’re more powerful when we work together. The people of Tibet have suffered for far too long at the hands of the Chinese enduring torture, economic inequality, religious persecution, and imprisonment from peaceful protests. Tell your friends, family, and organizations how they can help bring peace to the Tibetans.

Give for Tibet.  The demonstrations in Tibet clearly show the frustrations of an oppressed people. As the tensions escalate we fear more and more Buddhist monks and nuns and laypeople will be arrested, tortured, and killed. Help us ensure this conflict is resolved peacefully and urge the Chinese government to begin a dialogue with the Dalai Lama.

Get Local.  Find a local Tibet support group to join events in your area.
